Could somebody please post the current Pfunk lineup. I have been reading
all these messages, and don't know the names to half of these musicians.
Thank you kindly.

The current lineup is always changing, but since august the line up has
been pretty much like this -- I'll try to identify each person by what
they wear and location

CENTER STAGE
George Clinton: Ringleader (he wears sheets)
Garry Shider: vocals and guitar (wears diaper)
Rodney Skeet Curtis, bass and Novation bass station on "Knee Deep" and
"Oh Shit" (larger gentelman)
Lige Curry, occasional bass and vocals (lighter skinned dude, shaved
head)
In back, on drums, Gabe Gonzales

STAGE LEFT (if you were looking at the stage; it would be the right
side of the stage for the performers)
Horns in back: Greg Thomas (short fella wears headbands) sax,
Greg Boyer (tall, muscular) trombone, Bennie Cowan (fat) trumpet
Amp Fiddler, keyboards
Ray Davis (tall, older, wears glasses), vocals
Michael Hampton (wears P-Funk sweatshirts, bandanas, has braids), guitar
Andre Foxxe Willams (wears a miniskirt or a nun's outfit),
guitar (plays more rythm than lead)
Belita Woods (the only woman)

STAGE RIGHT (that's stage left to the performers)
Grady Thomas (wears purple sheik outfit), vocals
Robert P-Nut Johnson (wears ski hat, older dude), vocals
Micheal Clip Payne (goatee), funkadelic vocals and the man in the box
percussions
Billy Bass, rhythm guitar and bass
Paul Hill (wears dope ass sweatsuits and a kangol berre), vocals
Steve Boyd (has a lazy left eye, and usually takes a vocal solo on
"Bop Gun"), vocals

FEATURED PERFORMERS WHO MAY OR MAY NOT GET ON STAGE AT A
PARTICULAR SHOW (stage left (sl), stage right (sr), center (c)):

Darryl Clinton (short dreads), vocals (c)
Shawn Clinton (fatter guy, looks a little like george, always hype
gear on), rapping and vocals (c or back sr)
Shonda Bishop(?) (younger girl), rapping (c)
Louie Kabbabie (bald white guy), rapping (c)
Tracey Tre-Lewd Lewis, rapping vocals (sl or c)

OTHER PERFORMERS WHO HOOKED WITH P-FUNK AND PLAYED AT DIFFERENT
SHOWS IN 1995:
Linda Shider (long hair, sunglasses), vocals (back sr)
Gary Mudbone Cooper (Dreads, cowboy/native american outfit), vocals
(back sr or sr)
Frank Kash Waddy, drums
Sheila Horne, vocals (back sr)
Chuck da fonk fishman (c or sl), vocals, rapping
Maxine (fat gospely singer), vocals (sl)
Citrus (beard, long hair, white guy), guitar (sr)
Kelly Cowan, keyboards (sl)
Larry Graham, bass (c)

Gary Dee Dee James (dirty looking, has a hendrix tatoo on left
arm), guitar (sl)

We missed Cordell "Boogie" Mosson in you line up.
Although he missed most of the 1995 shows, he's still around sometimes,
like at the new years gig in Detroit.

Boogie has been working in Amsterdam last year with, most of all with the Dutch
group GOTCHA!.
In the past G.C, Michael "clip" Payne, Lige Curry and Boogie performed on their
Cd's (the fourht has just been released, featuring "Clip" and Boogie.)

December 28 we've put Boogie on a plane to Detroit for the gig, did anyone
actually see him show up?

What's up Boog? we miss you.
Come back a.s.a.p.

Bye,

Mars.

Always glad to oblige, Sam. The lineup is always shifting somewhat, and it's
rare that any two gigs will have the same players. But as a rule:

Bass: Rodney "Skeet" Curtis, Billy "Bass" Nelson, Lige Curry. Skeet plays
most of the bass parts. Billy Bass usually plays during the early Funkadelic
section. Lige plays for the rock stuff, like "Maggot Brain", "Fly On", and
other jams in the middle. When Cordell "Boogie" Mosson is around, he will
sometimes play on one or two songs.

Guitar: Michael Hampton (lead), DeWayne "Blackbyrd" McKnight (lead),
Andre "Foxxe" Williams (rhythm), Garry Shider (occasional lead, mostly
rhythm), Billy Bass (sometimes), Boogie Mosson (rhythm when he's around)
On rare occasions, Tracey "TreyLewd" Lewis will take up an axe.

Drums: Gabe Gonzales, Frankie "Kash" Waddy. Kash is playing a lot with
Bootsy these days, so Gabe has been handling most of the drum chores
these days. When they're both there, Kash handles the funky stuff and
Gabe does the rock. Sometimes other people take the drum kit at the end
of shows, it can be Mudbone Cooper, Blackbyrd, or others.

Keyboards: Joseph "Amp" Fiddler. Michael "Clip" Payne handles "The Man
In The Box", the drum machine, essentially. Michael Hampton also plays
keyboards, as does Billy Bass on occasion. Some random stage hands also
fill in at times.

Horns: The P.Funk Horns, aka The Baltimore Connection.
Greg Boyer, trombone; Greg Thomas, sax; Bennie Cowans, trumpet.

Vocals: George Clinton, Grady Thomas (dresses as sheik), Ray Davis,
Gary "Mudbone" Cooper (when he's not with Bootsy), Robert "P-Nut" Johnson,
Steve Boyd (does some leads), Garry Shider (does many leads), Belita Woods,
Michael Payne (lots of screams and warmups), Amp Fiddler, Greg Thomas (does
a scat solo), Greg Boyer, others

Percussion: Grady Thomas, P-Nut Johnson, whoever is near the congas

Rapping: George Clinton, Louie "Babblin'" Kabbabie, Tracey Lewis,
Shonda Clinton, Shawn Clinton (sometimes)

They don't call it the Funk Mob for nothing. Hopefully, we'll see the
addition of Junie Morrison, Bootsy Collins, Bernie Worrell, Maceo Parker
and Fred Wesley in the near future. Maybe Jerome Brailey will even come
back, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
