Hope this is apporopriate to this forum. I wasn't sure if this fit
your definition of "folk music" but I understand that's an incendiary
topic, so I'll take that to mean that some of y'all will think it is :-)
We are looking for the lyrics to "When Johnny Comes Marching
Home Again." We are especially interested in different versions,
and in more than one verse. That is, if you know more than one verse,
we'd be happy to hear them all (even partial verses will be helpful!), but
if you only know one, that would be great too!
Does anyone know the origin of the song? Is it American or English?
How old?
