Rob will be appearing at an open mic night in San Jose. For those of
you who don't know Rob Lamothe's music... He fronted the rock band
"Riverdogs" in the 80's with Dio's guitarist Vivian Campbell. He's
since released a number of folked up CDs that are really more Folk
guitar oriented music with a unique flavor and an awesome voice. Rob
lives in Canada and is seldom in the Bay Area, so don't miss this one.

"Monday February 18
Caf頃ito
330 So. 3rd Street
San Jose, CA 95112

Open mic begins around 8:00pm-8:30pm but may start earlier, so get
there early.

More info about Rob can be found on his web site.

Ummm.... you appear to have some non-ascii characters in that name.
Since your own reader probably shows them to you the way you typed
them, it's after the "Caf" where I see "ampersand-number
sign-38915-semicolon-ito". Presumably you are trying to get the "e"
in "Cafe" to have an accent and so on, but I suggest in the future you
aim at "pure ascii" announcements. Also - I checked in the business
listings in the white pages and there are no "Cafe <anything>"
listings for any address on South 3rd St., so you've got me stumped.

Sorry about that. The place is called Cafecito. The address is
correct. I actually cut and pasted the address and name out of
someone else's posting. I saw the same characters as you, but I
wasn't sure what the real name of the place was either. Anyway, I
hope you got a chance to see him, even though he only played two
songs. He's a Very talented singer/songwriter!

Oh... it might not have been listed because it's a Taqueria on the
left side and a coffee place (Cafecito) on the right in the same
building. So, maybe it's listed under the Taqueria... not sure.

Cheers,
Eric
