The name Carolin fills the chorus of The Boo Radleys' song "Does this

I think (ugh) Material issue had a Caroline song. If Jim Ellison shagged a

On an ollllllldddd Charlie Daniels (Band) album, late 70s I
believe, called "Full Moon" there is a song called, "Carolina."
It's really a pretty song (yes, I know it's CDB) and one of my
very favorites...
"...Carolina, Carolina-
you're hard, but you're hard to forget..."
Check it out!
Renee' S. (in Dallas, waiting for Reba to come my way!)
**REBA--one name says it all...**
p.s. I think the hit off that album was "Legend of Woolly Swamp"
or something like that...
"Home, Caroline Home" appears many times in The Rheostatics'
Saskatchewan.

One of the best is Oh Caroline by Matching Mole from their first

How about Shaggy's ragga anthem "Oh Carolina". I know it's not
Carolina, but she'd definately get the message. It's also a great tune
IMHO.

They're from Wales, started out singing almost totally in their
first language, released seminal first album "Patio", then "Tatay", two
superb albums of bedroom psychedelic pop with lashings of childlike
charm. Last album "Bwyd Time" saw them writing more songs in English and
(in my opinion) losing their pop sensibility somewhat and getting a bit
self-indulgent with dodgy facial hair. They've got some attention from
the NME (two Singles Of The Week), and are played often by Mark
Radcliffe on Radio 1. And I'm going to see them next month in Glasgow!
