Tune question for Nic Jones aficianados

Re "Miles Weatherhill" on the "Noah's Ark Trap" album (one of the best
to come out of the late-20th century British folk revival, by the by):
Is the "fade-out" tune at the end of the song something that Nic Jones
composed? I thought so until recently, when I heard the Irish slip jig
"The Promenade," and it seems to have some similarities other than the
fact that it's in a completely different time signature. So, did Nic
simply take the jig and "reel-ize" it?
