> Does anyone has a URl of a Yacoub/Malicorne WWW Page???
I accessed one just a few weeks ago, and now I can't find the
reference. *argh* SkyBry below should know.
y...@atlas.odyssee.net is YMX Records in Montreal, and they say they
can sell me a copy of the PIERRE DE GRENOBLE reissue for a money
order of US $20.
Sky...@aol.com and Sky...@msn.com (Bryan Matheson) were posting
contact and tour information for Gabriel Yacoub last month in
rec.music.folk. Here's a reprint of the tour schedule, I trust they
won't mind.

The Gabriel Yacoub home page is at:
http://www.dnai.com/~kshao/gabriel/gabe.html
It has information on how to order the discs in the U.S. and Canada (there
is a place in Montreal that will mail order the Boucherie releases and
re-releases). I just ordered _Pierre de Grenoble_ and _Elementary Level
of Faith_. Boucherie will be re-releasing _L'Extraordinaire Tour de
France_, _En Public_, _Le Bestiaire_, and _Balancoire en Feu_.
I am delighted! It will be wonderful to replace my nearly-worn-out vinyl
and played-out tapes of these.
Yacoub is brilliant.

If you get a chance, I'd love to hear from you about the Yacoub
show. I had tickets for the Freight & Salvage gig, and had to eat
them when a monster multimedia project flared up, and I had to work
late into the night of the show.
Did get to see Martin Hayes and Old Blind Dogs recently, and both
were absolutely fantastic. The OBD gig was supposed to be at the
Great American Music Hall (a great venue to HEAR music), but got
bumped to The Plough & The Stars (a great place to drink Guinness;
not a great place to hear music).
