How to pronounce Bert Jansch?

Our Folk Show staff is having a mild debate over how to pronounce Bert
Jansch's last name. Some say it's YANSH; others attempt to pronounce the J
*as* a J. Anyone know for sure?

By the way, has anyone heard his latest, "Heartbreak?" What do you think of
it? We just got a copy and I'm lukewarm after one listen.

I read an interview with Bert in Hokey Pokey recently and he said that it's
supposed to be pronounced YANSH, at least in Scotland where he hails from,
but as he's now living in England he got used to the other pronounciation
and it's alright both ways.
