CALENDAR OF EVENTS
May 13: Skip Jones will share songs and philosophy about life. Skip's
smooth voice is a pleasure to hear, and his stories and comments are
always thought provoking.
May 20: Shar-a-Song at 7:30 P.M. at the Mount Morris Town Hall. (Songs
about travel)
June 10: The hit of last year's festival, Wolverine Willy & the
Blues
Toads visit Mount Morris again. All are members of the Green Apple
Friends of Folk, and they've been delighting Green Apple audiences for
years with their zany songs and jokes. The six member group plays
everything from guitar to stump fiddle to toad! Concert at the Mt. Morris
Town Park.
June 17: Shar-a-Song at 7:30 P.M. at the Mount Morris Town Hall.

Concerts are the 2nd Saturday of the month, starting at 7:30 P.M.; you
are invited to attend the potluck dinner at 6:30 P.M. preceding the
concerts. $4.00 donation for adults; children under 12 free.
Shar-a-Songs are the 3rd Saturday of the month at 7:30 P.M. No potluck
for the Shar-a-Song, but beverages are provided. All events are at the
Mount Morris Town Hall, Hwy 152, Mount Morris, unless otherwise stated.

BLACK HAWK FOLK FESTIVAL
July 8: Chris Plata and his band, Randy Sabien, Susan Urban, Small
Potatoes, Molly Maguires, and Larry Penn join us this year at the July 8
festival. The Festival starts at noon at the Mount Morris Town Park. and
the cost is $7.00 for the day/ students $5.00/ 12-under free. Advanced
tickets $1.00 off. For

Call for Artists and Crafts People at the Festival
This summer's festival will again feature traditional artists and crafts
people. Start thinking about it now. All artists and crafters are
welcome as part of our folk festival.

Active Membership ($5) is for those willing to lend a helping hand.
Sustaining Membership ($15-$99) is for those willing to let their money do
the work. Newsletter Donation is an optional amount, a contribution in
this category assures you a place on our mailing list for the next year.
