FRANCE WAS WONDERFUL (and wildly successful)!!
As most of you know, Dana was offered a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to
showcase at one of the most prestigious music conferences in the world -- the
MIDEM conference in France. Because of the wonderful generosity of his
friends and fans, he was able to take advantage of this opportunity!! MANY
exciting things happened (come out to a show and hear all the news and see
the pictures!) We raised the money for the airline tickets, but have just a
few more expenses to cover. We'll have a "PAY FOR FRANCE" box at the gigs --
any spare change would be appreciated. Checks may be sent to Dana at P.O.
Box 121986, Nashville, TN 37212. You may charge a contribution by calling
me at 615-298-5899 or faxing name, card number, expiration date and phone
number to 615-292-0948 or emailing info to Barto...@aol.com. Of course,
checks, cash or credit cards will be welcomed at all of Dana's performances.
As always, your support is greatly appreciated. Dana could not travel
around sharing his music without YOU -- in the audience, opening your home
and pantry to us and all of the other things you do to make our travels
possible.
Thank you, Ronda Barton
(Dana's road manager/booking agent)

Please stop such cross-posting. This has absolutely nothing to do
w/ calssical guitar and is unwelcome here.

Actually, Dana Cooper is an excellent acoustic guitar player. Some might find
his style, if not classical, then in a very similar vein. I thought some
readers of a "Classical Guitar" newsgroup might be interested as he has quite
a following of fans of this type music. If you're not interested in acoustic
guitar players, I understand, but not everyone shares your interests.

<sigh> Let me guess... your probably a member of the spelling police too.
