Thanks!
I am looking for the lyrics to the English folksong "Oh Pendle," about the
hill located in the Pennines, and a song called "Dublin in the Rare Old
It's on Cliff Haslam's album _The Clockwinder_ on Folk-Legacy. It's
credited to an author named "Lambert", but the details are on the
detailed notes that are too big to fit in the cassette shell, and
consequently lost.

From memory, the chorus goes like this:
Oh Pendle, Oh Pendle
Thou standest alone
'Twixt Burnley and Clitheroe,
Barley and Colne,
Where Hodder and Pendle's fair waters do meet,
With Newchurch and Barley content at thy feet.
As a former resident of Burnley (one of the towns listed in the
above song) I'm intrigued to know where you heard the song. I
assumed that it was (probably) never heard outside the North of
England.
(I suppose the Pendle Witches might be answerable?)
I'll do a bit more research to try to find the rest of the lyrics
