Michael McNevin/Peg Bertsch Bay Area House Concert!!

in Campbell, CA (near San Jose) on Sunday, March 31st at 7 pm. Michael is a
wonderful storyteller who Christine Lavin named her favorite songwriter of
1994. He writes great stories with wonderful imagery of his childhood and
commentary on the world today. He is a past Kerrville New Folk winner,
toured as part of the 1994 Internet Quartets, and has one critically
acclaimed CD, "Secondhand Story".
Performing Songwriter has said,
"[His] mood overall is wistful and soft with McNevin steering his
clear tenor voice through acoustic landscapes shimmering with fluid,
finger-picked guitars."
Michael will be doing this house concert fresh off an appearance at the
Niles-Centerville Little League opening day ceremonies. He got to sing "The
Pride of Niles-Centerville" and throw out the first pitch at a few of the
games. He'll tell you all about it if you ask him. He's real proud.
Peg Bertsch will be opening for Michael. She is a Northern California
songwriter who has recently come into her own. She was a 1995 Emerging
Songwriter Contest Winner at the Napa Valley Folk Festival and is a past
winner of "Song of the Year" from the Northern California Songwriters
Association (as is McNevin, as well). Catch Peg at a time when her career
is just beginning to take off.

Note: Michael McNevin will also be performing at a few other Bay Area
