Right. And Ugly Kid Joe wrote "Cat's in the Cradle." And Whitney
Houston wrote "I Will Always Love You." And "Layla" is a brand new Eric
Clapton song...
"Signs" was done by a group called the Five-Man Electrical Band, back in
the early 70's. They were most definitely a one-hit wonder. Tesla, the
heavy-metal band, evidently ripped off the name of that group for their
album.

Hasn't everyone heard the mid70's original a million
times on those classic rock stations that seem to blare out
of every corner?

right-on, dean!!!
that was one of my all time faves back in...hmmm...1972???
big one-hit wonder by *five man electrical band* which is where tesla
got the idea for naming that live set 5maj.
IMHO, i think Tesla did the song justice, but i love the rock prelude/intro
on the long version of "signs" by 5meb.
song-writing credits next time...dont know 'em in mehead! sorry =(
another tune that made minor waves on the top-40 way back when Billboard
was somewhat competitive with their system was 5meb's *absolutely right*,
which can be found on the b-side of *signs* on an MGM-golden oldies
single.
byealll!!
