I saw Cheryl last week at the Turning Point in Piermont, NY, and had a
wonderful time. My question - has she ever done any standup comedy - she's
a blast!

Hi George, I saw her 3/22 in Mays Landing, N.J. and she is truly
histerical. She had the audience in stitches, oh and the music was
excellent. What a great show. Anyone who hasn't seen her in concert
doesn't know what they are missing. Regards, Elliot

She is indeed! We had her here last October and everyone there
(including me) was either laughing or getting a bit wet in the eye the
whole night. At the appropriate times of course. Cheryl would probably
be able to do a few jokes about that.

The comments I got about her were similar to this:
"..two concerts for the price of one. An accomplished captivating
singer of beautiful songs and a first rate stand-up comic.."
I recommend that everyone see her. She is unique!

I saw her a year ago doing the "On a Midwinter's Night" thing with
Patti Larkin, John Gorka and Cliff Ebherhart (sp?). All four of them
together was a stich. What struck me about Cheryl is that one minute she is
mucking it up and the next her heart is right there on her sleeve and she is
singing about some serious pain. In songs like "Arrow" (not sure of the
title). She also had a song about a nor'easter approaching a beach.
Powerful stuff.

Cheryl one time mentioned that she had an offer for a gig as a stand-up
comic, but that she didn't want to do it. She seemed to like the ability
to go back to her guitar between jokes. Personally, I think she would
do better at stand-up than most of the folks who are doing it for a living.
She is great. (Of course, I'm biased, since I think she is fantastic!)
