Anybody from the Madison area wish to keep me company on a drive up to
Stevens Point? I'd drive, although my friends would suggest you might want
to drive and let me pay for the gas.

I called and they denied this show existed.
They also denied Sep 13 existed (really!), but then backed of and insisted
it was on a Sunday and got midly upset when I disagreed. Hopefully they make
the visit - good excuse to hit the local brewery before hand.

NOT TO BE MISSED . . .
The best active live band IMHO.
Okay I haven't seen every band, but of the ones I've seen and are still
active DNB is the tops.
Nothing is a perfect description of music but think 1971 era Dead/New Riders
with a pedal steel. Better than New Riders IMHO, not quite as good as the
Dead. To me this band should be selling out stadiums and have babies named
after its members. But lucky for me folks are unware of them and I can go
see them in a club for $10.
Truly Amazing! One of the best live bands around these days. IMO, #2
behind any band that has Phil in it, though I'm looking forward to Phish
<gasp> giving them both a run for their money. I'll give you a money-back
guarantee that you won't be disappointed.

Their set from Sunday's Gathering on the Mountain was stellar!!!! I
can't say enough good things about this band. Run, don't walk to see them.

Get there early enough to catch <A
HREF="http://www.ramblinrose.org">Ramblin' Rose</A> open the
live-music festivities at 3:00pm!! We play Dead...
Information update:
It is unfortunate but due to the fire danger and the constraints of
the
park system we the field trippers will not be allowed to camp at
Elijah
Bristow state park. However, this small fact will not effect the
Jubilee. We are going to have a great time with a full day of music
and
friends. There are some nearby campgrounds and lots of locals to meet
and mingle with and find a place to rest your heads. Music will start
at 3:00pm (with Ramblin*Rose )but the fun begins when U get there!
David Nelson is on his
way and we hope to see ya there. One small problem will be that we
can't show the movie "Sunshine Daydream" because we have to be out of
the park at dark. Sorry but that's the way it's going to be. We had a
chance at camping but Sven at the park service would not budge.
Boo hoo, don't let that small detail put a damper on things. So you
might not know where you'll be late sat night.....more mystery.... we
need mystery ....sooooooooooooo
Let's party see ya Saturday at the Jubilee!!! Shake it up now Sugaree

I can't say I'm familar with them, but I heard ONE song on a local
radio show that blew me away... I mean, it was unbelievably good, and
I wouldn't miss them if they came to town, which is unlikely...
Agreed... they are the only band that, when they come within 3 hours
of home, I will not miss...
