I don't know those "words" as a song title, but rather part of the lyric to "Green Green Rocky
Road." I've heard versions by Dave Van Ronk and Chris Smither.
Judy Henske had this on one of her albums. Some of her fans will
probably chime in with the lyrics. The only thing I can remember is that
first line and the second: "Does your mama chaw tobacca?"

Somewhere in my cloudy memory (someone I know used to sing this song):
Hooka tooka my soda cracker
Does your mammy chaw tobacc'er
As I remember the intro to this song, it had to do with prostitution. The kids would
sing this song when the law came close to where business was being conducted.
It's really been a long time since I heard this song. I hope it gets
posted so I can get it. I'm new to posting, however, I take it that some
people don't like the clutter and prefer that songs get sent to private
E-Mail. Here's hoping it gets posted in the open. Good Luck!

I think that Chubby Checker had a hit with this one too.
That's great! You all sound just like a bunch of Kids playing outside a
Chicago whore house!!!

If yer mama chaw tobacca
Sing hooka tooka my soda cracker

I've been playing this song for over twenty five years. The first person
I think I heard sing it was Len Chandler. I'm not sure who's version
this is.
Enjoy
