There was a singer in Athens, Ohio who performed this song and I was wonderig
if anyone could point me in the direction of finding a recording of the song.
If you could mail me at "tjkr...@blue.weeg.uiowa.edu" instead of the address
below, I'd appreciate it.

Patty Larkin has recorded "The Last Leviathan". I don't have the album with me
at the moment, but I believe it's on "In the Square".

I have a tape off the radio (circa 11/89) of Arcie Fisher doing "The Last
Leviathan".

Hopefully tjkresse is suffering from overkill, I just sent him a list
of every recording of the song that it's publishers knew about in the
middle of last year. I believe the Patty Larkin one was in that list.

Archie Fisher sings it on a live album that he recorded with Garnet
Rogers. Can't remember the name of the album right now. This is an
album that I'd LOVE to find on cd!

The album is called "Off The Map", and is available on CD from Valerie
Rogers' home mail-order business. Here's her address:

Valerie Enterprises (416) 692-4020 (phone/fax)
Woodburn Road, RR #1
Hannon, Ontario, Canada LOR 1P0

She's also got all of Stan and Garnet Rogers' stuff (she's Mom Rogers)
and some of Jim Keelaghan's, I believe. Stan's wife Ariel also has a
mail-order business, Fogarty's Cove Records; I've got an order form
for her if anyone's interested in any Stan Rogers material. Her
address is

Fogarty's Cove Music
23 Hillside S.
Dundas, Ontario
CANADA L9H 4H7
416-627-9808

Don't think she has any of Archie's or Garnet's music, though. All of
Stan's stuff is on CD now, by the way.

It's called _Off the Map_ and I'd just like to hear it.

That sounds like the one to me.

Well I'll be... I wonder if Andy knows I'll give him a ring and make
sure he's geting his royalties :-). No doubt they introduce it as a
very old Irish folk song ;-)

As far as I know he knows. It's what paid for that rather nice oakwood
bouzouki he plays.

If you see him before I do give him, Jan and Martin my regards.

I have a Patty Larkin tape with a lovely version of this song. I think
it's called Patty Larkin - Live - In The Square.
