( A 'greatest hits ' album, not a bad starting place)

The Border MCA MCF3133 1982
Paris Texas Warner Bros? ? 1986?
Crossroads Warner Bros 925 399-1 1986

Other Stuff:
Pecos Bill (with Robin Williamson)
Live & Let Live - Bobby King and Terry Evans SPD 1016 1988
SPDCD1016 (Rounder in US?)
(I know this one's not by Ry but he arranged it, produced it and
played on it and it's bloody good so there)
I haven't attempted to categorise any of this into folk, blues gospel
etc because it would be too difficult. The only thing that shines
through is that they are all instantly recogniseable as Ry Cooder.
My personal faves are Purple Valley, Bop till you drop and Get Rhythm,
plus the tracks School is Out and Dark End of the Street from the
Showtime LP, which is a live recording. But what do I know?
