Now I'm confused... I thought this question was on another newsgroup.

Anyway...(here we go again...)...I answered this question SOMEWHERE, by
saying that I thought it was Kris Kristofferson, but I wasn't sure, and
I'd check. Well, I checked my stuff by Kris, (which is by no means
complete, but none-the-less, I remembered listening to it, on LP).
Anyway, it's not there. Bob Marshall wrote, and said it was Bobby Bare.
Now, I have learned that in these cases, Bob usually, (did I say
usually?) knows what he's talking about, so I will concede to his answer.
