ATTENTION INDIE LABELS

I am an Associate Editor for Counterpoise, a journal that explores
"alternative" publications in print, video and sound. Counterpoise is
published under the aegis of the American Library Association and is aimed
primarily at public and academic librarians. I'm in charge of the music
side, and am interested in featuring record labels that offer music from
outside the mainstream -- not necessarily "alternative" music in the
generic, mass-marketed sense, but rather music that presents a genuine
alternative to what is generally offered in the marketplace. If you are
involved with such a label or can gpoint me towards someone who is, please
respond directly.
