If you're referring to the fiddle tune, then I've never heard any words
for it. A cursory web search tuned up nothing.

Percy Wenrich wrote it, as I recall. I've got sheet music somewhere, but
it may just be instrumental -- I'll have to do some digging.
My heart is singing (?), my Silver Bell.
Under your spell, I'd love to dwell
something like that.

Jess's fiddling is great on that track, but I find the singing
rather dreadful (Dan Hornby??). Bob Douglas plays many of
Jess Young's recorded songs as instrumentals (a major
improvement, in many ways). I never asked him (Bob; I never
had the chance to meet Jess) if he played this one. But I
bet he does. Bob has great taste, he never tries to sing
any of Jess's songs.
Best,

So what are you saying about Susan's taste, Kerry?

Having finally made it upstairs to the sheet music mound, I've rechecked
that, in fact, Percy Wenrich is responsible for the Dixie Darlings Song
(and Two Step).
Given the current thread regarding tin pan alley origins for oldtime
music, I thought that it was a given that "mass" culture survived in the
discarded and forgotten artifacts which made their ways into the rural
areas. Hell, they mine the remains of dinosaurs.
