We'd like to know if Folk Legacy is still in business. We're looking
to upgrade some old LP's to compact disc; specifically, Gordon Bok,
New Golden Ring and the like... Does anybody have an address or some
way of contacting them? If they're gone forever, might somebody else
be converting this music to CD's?

That address is Box 1148, Sharon, CT 06069 - but I'll betcha it's get
there just fine without the box number. I prefer to order from Folk
Legacy by phone, and ask them for advice on what's good and what's
not. If they don't like a recording, they'll tell ya - even if it's
on their own label. Prices are good, too - especially if you order a
number of CD's.

And the Golden Ring/New Golden Ring albums just came out on CD last week...Our
thanks to Sandy & Caroline Paton for dropping a set by the Front Hall booth at
Old Songs this last weekend. We've been listening to them all day:-)
