Willy Verheulpen of Brussels Free University, Institute for Molecular
Biology, has contributed this monumental Dubliners vinyl discography:
This is a DUBLINERS discography up to 1982 only vinyl.
It is compiled from my own records and other sources.
Although the original list is in an order which I think is far from
chronological, the records are nevertheless listed by record label,
so I decided to classify them by label.
Although the 'Hallmark' label is listed in the original list before
the 'Transatlantic' label, the Hallmark records state that they come
from recordings previously released on the Transatlantic label.
So I have listed Trans. before Hallmark.
The confusing thing is that the same tracks have been brought out on
different labels sometimes with different record titles. So getting a
record with a different title on a different record label does not imply
that you get a different record !
It is clear that 'A drop of the hard stuff' Maj/Min = 'Seven Drunken nights'
'Drinkin' and Courtin'' Maj/Min = 'I Know MY Love'
'At It Again' Maj/Min = 'Seven Deadly Sins'
+ I suppose that some Transatlantic recs have been reproduced as such
on the Hallmark label. No data available, I've never seen the Trans.
recordings.
The ones marked (@) are in my posession.

I have been collecting The Dubliners for nearly 30 years and I
have made up my own list of albums published in the UK. If anybody
can add additional information it would be very useful. I have only
seen them live once at the Civic Theatre in Darlington. Although I
have listened to Sean Cannon's marvellous voice when he was a solo artist.
My name is Douglas Clark (d.g.d...@bath.ac.uk).
The original line-up was Ronnie Drew, Luke Kelly, Ciaron Bourke,
Barney McKenna and John Sheehan. Bobby Lynch replaced Luke Kelly
on the second LP. When Luke died a compilation album of his singing:
`Luke's Legacy' was released.

songs (eg Rare Ould Town). I think it is culled from
previous Dubliners albums, like Luke's Legacy album was,

Did you include "Guaranteed", Ronnie Drew's solo album from 1978 on Dolphin
records (DOLM 5021)? Great album but it may not fit the bill because it's not
a Dubliners record. Musicians are Eamon Campbell, Ronnie, John Drummond, Eddie
Furey, Des Moore, Paddy Roach and John Sheahan..
