Hi,
I am looking for the name of the African group that performed at the 1996
Lowell Folk Festival (in Lowell Massachusetts). They used both
traditional instruments and electric guitar, bass, etc.
I'm also trying to find the name of a male singer/guitarist who plays a
song called "Two Left Feet."
Thank you!

That was the Mamaya African Jazz Ensemble, which featured kora player
Djimo Kouyate.

That would be the incomparable Richard Thompson, who first recorded it
on his 1983 album "Hand of Kindness". It's also been on a couple
compilations over the years and he does it in just about all of his
live shows.
