The Nudes are Walter Parks and Stephanie Winters, who put on a wonderful
concert every time I've seen them. He plays guitar and she plays an
electric "cello" of strange design. Their songs are self-written, in the
folk / acoustic vein. We enjoy them immensely; they are the most fun you
can have with your clothes on, as they claim. (They're fully clothed.)
They are also the two tallest-thinnest people you'll ever see performing
together. I urge you to go.

Andrew Stevens
They are a duo based in NYC consisting of guitarist Walter Parks and
celloist Stephanie Winters. Their music is somewhat hard to classify,
they themselves call it "acoustic eclectic". Walter has an excellent
voice and Stephanie sings backup. They both are very good players,
and they do some instrumentals in their show. They do all original
stuff, plus a nice cover of "Norwegian Wood".
They have a self-produced CD entitled "The Nudes" which is quite good.
I have produced several shows with them in NY at Columbia U., and they
always pack the house. I would highly recommend seeing them.

Don't miss it. They are fantastic. I've seen them twice at the
Black Mountain Folk Festival in North Carolina. They are one of my
favorite discoveries in a while. Buy their CD too; it's great as well.
