Since I am male, I am tempted to post this to a gay site.
It was started by me hearing 'guy' for 'sky'. And the rest of the
changes, even though they reverse the intent of the original tune,
were just as easy.

The tune should be obvious.

Love song of the gay Montegreens

Take my love, take my land
Take me where I cannot stand
I don't care, I'm still free
You can't take this guy from me.

Isn't he a handsome black
It seems I just keep coming back
Burn the land and boil the sea
You can't take this guy from me.

Leave other men where they stay
They'll never see another lay
Got my soul, got my dream
You can't take this guy from me.

I feel the black reaching out
I hear his song without a doubt
I still hear and I still see
You can't take this guy from me.

Got my love, Got my land
Got the last place I could stand
There's no place I can't be
Since I've found Serenity

And you can't take this guy from me.

It's a lovely song, but I should point out that this mishearing is a
common one and probably even predates a generation of young kids hearing
Hendrix singing "excuse me, while I kiss this guy."

Don't know how filkish, but [IMHO] good twist.

There are times when I think this stuff deserves it's
own sub-genera as a double-entendre-greens or
some such.

I've had one running through my head (never wrote
it down) for Abba's "Dancing Queen." 8-)

[Think about it a bit and you'll probably get there.] ;-)
