I know people have been looking for, and asking for, the music schedule for Confluence in Pittsburgh, which is only 17 days away. Sorry about the horrible delay -- I'll try to explain some of my personal issues in a post on my wall if I get a chance --, but here's the draft schedule that went out to the performers a few days ago. I haven't seen any objections or pushback so far, so I presume this is at least close to final.

(Just a reminder: The Confluence room block closes today, so if you haven't reserved your room yet, you need to! If the online reservation page linked to from https://confluence-sff.org/hotel/ gives you problems, let me know!)

By which I mean my Facebook wall. Sorry, I crossposted this message in several FB groups first.

Looks like a great program as always, Randy. I won't be there, alas.

Unfortunately, Triforce Quartet has had to withdraw from Confluence 2022; we'll hope to see and hear them at Confluence 2023. Clif Flynt has graciously agreed to step in and fill their concert slot from 9 to 9:50 p.m. on Friday July 29.

Please be careful everyone! I hope all areas are well ventilated and
that you have HEPA filters on the site, especially in any filking rooms.
Or look up "Corsi-Rosenthal box" for a cheap DIY design.

I'm not anywhere near the con but I remember your announcement post from
a month or so ago, appealing for memberships. If you're selling
supporting memberships I guess I could go for one.

Best wishes for a healthy and successful convention!

They are.

I believe that there are plans afoot to deploy air filtration in the con suite and/or some other high-traffic locations, but I don't know whether we'll have any in Ballroom 1.

We're not selling supporting memberships, but I appreciate your willingness to pitch in!

Thanks!

Here is a very good guide for ventilating a class room, by one of the
top experts in infectuous aerosols:

https://lbourouiba.mit.edu/image-gallery/heathy-teaching

It can probably be adapted to other settings such as ballrooms.

Stay healthy!
