UK filkcon (February): rates rise

Hiya all!

Bought your membership to "aXXIdental", the 21st British Filk Convention
yet?

The rates will rise for UK folks on *15 May*, so UK-based people will
want to get their membership asap (perhaps at the Swiggle this weekend?)

The new rates are:
Full adult attending: GBP 32 (from GBP 29)
Un-waged adult, child aged 6 to 17 years: GBP 16 (from GBP 15)
Child aged 5 and under, soft toys: GBP 1

...so join now, and save yourself a quid or three!

Rates for folks living outside the UK will not rise before 10 October
(so they currently remain at: Full EUR 39 / USD 58, Unwaged EUR 20 / USD
30, Child EUR 1 / USD 2), although due to fluctuations in the currency
exchange rate we reserve the option of adjusting Euro and US membership
fees and other costs according to the current rate, if necessary.

aXXIdental, the 21st British Filk Convention, will be held on 6-8
February 2009 at the Ramada Hotel, Grantham.

Our UK Guest of Honour is Richard "Hitch" Wheatley, and our
International Guests of Honour are Rand Bellavia and Adam English of
Ookla the Mok. We also hope to have a special "Before the Dawn" concert,
and to produce a convention songbook - so this is a perfect time to get
cracking on your songbook contributions!
