Final (?) pre-Confluence announcements

Crossposting a few more pre-con notes about Confluence 2022:

1. I'm trying to set up an open filk for Thursday night. We're not sure whether the hotel can give us a meeting room for that purpose; if not, we might be able to do a basic sit-on-the-beds-and-floor-style circle in someone's sleeping room. Anyone who is arriving on Thursday and would like to participate in (or just listen to) an open filk circle this Thursday evening should email me at mrgoodwraith (at) yahoo (dot) com with your cell number so that I can email, text, or call you with the details when I have them.

2. Confluence performer The Darkest Timeline is normally a duo, but issues have come up for band member Zach Parkman that urgently require his attention this weekend, so The Darkest Timeline's set will be performed solo by band member Juels Bland.

3. Thanks to our attendees and others who reserved rooms, Confluence has made its room block. Muchas gracias, everybody! Although this does not, in and of itself, ensure that Confluence will return in 2023 and beyond, the possibility of future Confluences is vastly higher than it would've been had we missed the block.

Please disregard announcement #1 in this post. A pre-con open filk will be happening in the hotel's Solstice Room starting at 8 p.m. this Thursday evening and running for as long as there is interest.
