In ancient days men looked upon the stars
And saw majesty and wonder
In the stars they saw the signs
That led them on their journeys
They set out upon the Star Road

In that star they saw his sign
And had to take their journey

And sought to learn and understand
From the stars they saw the facts
That led them on their studies
They set out upon the Star Road

In these days men look upon the stars
And know that they are far away
Now the stars seem out of reach
And none can take the journey
None set out upon the Star Road

In future days who'll look upon the stars
And see them as their neighbor
Will the stars be our home
And will we take the journey
