Let's Keep It Between Us
------------------------

Recorded live at the Fox Warfield Theatre in San Francisco 11/16/80

Gotta Serve Somebody
I Believe In You
Like a Rolling Stone
Man Gave Names To All the Animals
To Ramona
Let's Keep It Between Us
Covenant Woman
Senor
Simple Twist of Fate
The Groom's Still Waiting at the Altar

Recorded at the height of Dylan's Gospel period, this concert is an
excellent representation of his live sound during that time. Dylan
put together one of his best bands ever for this tour and subsequent
album "Saved" and they smoulder on stage with passion and intensity.
Dylan's vocals are anguished and at the same time joyful. The backup
singers, which I always found superfluous, are perfectly suited for
this musical setting. Highlights: a slow and bluesy version of "Gotta
Serve Somebody"; a countryish version of "To Ramona" with guest Jerry
Garcia on guitar; the unreleased "Let's Keep It Between Us", a great
gospel-blues number; "Senor", with guest Jerry Garcia, performed with
lots of atmosphere and mystery.

Sound quality: very good stereo PA recording.

Performance: 10 on a 10 scale

Highly recommended!
