From "Don't Fall Apert on Me tonight"

Do you remember St. James Street
Where you blew Jackie P's mind
You were so fine Clark Gable would have fell at you feet
and laid his life on the liine,

No ideas, but I'm in shock; I'd always heard "When your blue jacket brushed
mine."

Jeff - your post struck a chord with me - I was in shock a few years
ago when I read those lyrics - I had always heard it as "when your
blue jacket fused mine" - which I guess has a similar connotation to
your hearing - setting off sparks... interesting!

Don Pardo changed his first name? Was this some kind of Subud/Jim McGuinn/Roger
McGuinn deal?

After reading the initial post on this I went back to check the lyrics
on this song and discovered my own misinterpretation....always thought
the line was ...no more mercury(gemini ruled planet) creatures lying in
your arms.....instead of no more mudcaked creatures.....what is he
talking about...?
hunting for crawdads in a pond ?....happy trails bobaloos....terry

I believe you're thinking of Don Pardo.
