Thanks to our old friend Tiernan for telling me that Badlands are
requesting advance orders for remastered releases of "Bob Dylan" and
"The Times They Are A-Changin'". I phoned them and they said from the
price (£12.99 as opposed to £6.99) it looks as if they will be hybrid
SACDs, not CD only. No firm date yet.

They also said that in addition to the "Bootleg Series 7", Columbia
are planning to release an acoustic Dylan compilation. I have no news
as yet as to whether this will be just already released songs (like
the "American Journey" CD) or if there will be some previously
unreleased material.

Badlands are also going to stock the Sanctuary "Bonnaroo Festival
2004" album, and have lots of copies of 2004's Victoria's Secret CD:

I see that Badlands also report that the "Bob Dylan Collections" Vol1
and Vol2 have remastered discs. This would imply that they have a
remastered version of TOOM. Can anybody confirm this?

This is great news, but is it definitely advance orders?

The original plan was that TOOM would be remastered in SACD stereo and
5.1 surround sound, but that caused problems with Daniel Lanois, so it
was dropped from the original 2003 SACD schedule.

I shall ring Badlands and check this out.
