Thank You, that's nice.
And here is something from Abraham, i get the feeling you'll enjoy
it.
Many of my creative intuitions have come to pass during the last
decades, but with Abraham, i feel on solid grounds.

So much that the lion can roar and it's fine.

Just fine.

As fine as can be.

The lion I am talking about.

Have you read Narnia?

Yes or no, check this lion here . Kudos .

And I[d understand if not everyone agreed my experience

Hey, Dudley, Thanks!

I've wanted to see this documentary for years... I was one one the few people who kind of enjoyed the Hearts Of Fire era, at least may aspects of it was fun... Dylan in eyeshadow and ear rings...

Interesting to see "the [visual] artist at work" -- thanks for posting.

At the beginning of the interview, I thought Bob seemed fairly engaged and might actually give straight answers. But it ended up, as usual, as a jive sparring session.

Sure, it must have been tedious for Bob to get asked the same bloated interview questions again and again. But wouldn't it have gotten just as tedious to have to put on that contrarian persona?

Hoping that ref to ER meant "expecting rain" and not "emergency room."

But if it likely didn't, here's hoping your recovery is fast and long-
lasting, just like a tongue-in-cheek BD interview.

Hello,

Thanks for taking the time to reply.

Abraham is fine (actually bob's Hebrew name), as are lions.

The spoken word video is repetitive in an incantatorial way, and effective as such. That said i've never been much of one for self-actualisation, more self-dispersal (trying to get as far away from mySelf as i can).

Hear Bruce and the lions (album version, U2Bist slideshow):

Hey Will, thanks for taking the time to reply, and you're more than welcome. Least i can do.

(clearly i need to figure out how the "new" gargle gropes allows
inline replies.)

i almost prefer the Australian press conference (clearly neither of
these is the Holy Grail). still there's some good stuff to be had...
"I just write 'em because nobody says you can't write em." Easily
adaptable to the workplace.

Actually, Dylan's Hebrew name is Shabtai Zisl ben Avraham. "Ben Avraham" simply means "son of Abraham."

hey kh, sure is good to hear from you, and thanks for taking the time
to reply.

you are, as ever, quite correct, and my post was poorly composed. i
was just trying to make an Abrahamic connection in recognition of the
previous poster.

Dylan’s Yiddish name is Shimon Bar Sinister.

i'm thinking back to where bob talks about how all the music sounds
the same these days (have you noticed that?) and how it's all machines
now and there's only so many ways the machines make it sound
different, but how some young people are listening to the old music
and that things would change.

then i listened to Sun Volt's Trace, which came out of Uncle Tupelo
and so forth and wonder if bob was forecasting alt-country /
americana.

then i listened to a few songs from one of bob's recent shows and
wondered if his piano playing is more prominent than in the past few
years or if it's just the audience recording i have. he seems also to
be doing more with it.
