I'll bet *some* band must've released an album called 'AEIOU', right?

'some' blank CD-Rs? What, a half dozen, or a thousand?

Don't know about that but there was a country-rock band in the 80's that
came close with their name: E-I-E-I-O.

I remember you too. Your the man who does not like Dylan. You are poisoning
this newsgroup by irrelevant posts about groups you consider are superior to
Dylan..
There is nobody superior to Dylan. Poison Rose/poison dick. You continuously
poison this newsgroup with anti Dylan posts and as such you are a troll.

Now now, Paul. There is no need to get vitriolic. Poisoned rose just
happens to like flame wars. It's a personality disorder that he has that
you have to just work around.

I admit that my last post was over the top. I was enjoying myself so much
that I just got carried away.
Of course PR has every right to post whatever he likes on a public newsgroup
and I have got better things to do than argue with a self-opinionated twerp
like him.

"Twerp" is such a comical word to me. Funnily enough, last night I was
reading Kurt Vonnegut's "A Man Without A Country." According to
Vonnegut's definition, I am a twerp:

"And I consider anybody a twerp who hasn't read the greatest American
short story, which is "Occurrence at Owl Bridge", by Ambrose Bierce.
It is a flawless example of American genius, like "Sophisticated Lady"
by Duke Ellington or the Franklin stove..."

I need to find a copy of this short story asap.

That's there in the book as well. I just didn't quote it.

"Do you know what a twerp is? When I was in Shortridge High School in
Indianapolis 65 years ago, a twerp was a guy who stuck a set of false
teeth up his butt and bit the buttons off the back seats of taxicabs.
(And a snarf was a guy who sniffed the seats of girls' bicycles.)"

Stated in an interview as well? Hmmm...

A self-opinionated person wouldn't care that the definition is, would
he? Facts and definitions tend to interfere with personal
opinions. ;-)

Thanks, Treadleson. According to Vonnegut's definition I am no longer
a twerp. Powerful story for sure. I don't know if I consider it to be
the greatest American story though. How 'bout you?

Thank you for that. And if you haven't seen this, you're in for an
experience. (I feel like I'm part of the short story by this time.)
Here, the entire film is set to the music of Jethro Tull's "Thick As A
Brick".

I doubt it ever caught on the way Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon
did with The Wizard of Oz.

As always, everything counts and nothing counts.

This will explain better than I could. I've never tried this myself,
but I keep meaning to.
