Of course, some would call this thievery. Why should we have to pay,
over and over, for the same product?
Music should be like software. We should get automatic upgrades when
they learn to make it sound better.
Of course, there is a high end audio industry, similar to the way exotic
sportscars loom over the auto industry, and these special edition cds
satisfy their needs.
The next step forward for music fidelity is going to be the Neil Young
big digital file system. All these remasters are going to sound very
tinny when that happens.
