The talent wowed me.

Invest in a more professional video.

You're worth it.

Bob Dylan traded in his polka dots for vaginas. (please forgive me. i
am incredibly bored, and mystified, as I am wondering what happened to
my Lucky Wilbury, who was skinny and yellow and nervous and trembling
in the Chicago newspaper, Handle With Care, in the audience down below
(I thought?!?) at the Kennedy Center, etc.. etc...Something is
happening here, and I don't know what it is. I must be schizo. :/)

Dear oumer,

May i call you oumer? Hi hello how are ya? I hope this finds you well.
(slides a basement temperature beer across the table.)

boyoboyoboy, that's good stuff. It's based on the Greatest Hits Vol. 2
arrangement w/ Happy (or Artie) Traum, Yah?

I live for this kind of thing. I'd rather listen to Us singing &
playing, picking and grinning, than any paid rockStar.

The funny thing is, when i came across this post i was in the middle
of )successfully( finding a recording i made some time ago of ISBR
using the lyrics bob did at the Dr. King tribute back in '86. It's
really loFi, and not very well performed.

That said, as you may or may not know, some of Us here are trying to
put together a CD of rmd'ers performing bobSongs.

I'll gladly bow to yr ISBR if you'd let us include it. (i already have
a recording of "Love Is Just a Four Letter Word" for the compilation.)
Let us know; at very least i can extract the audio from your video.

I'd be honoured to appear on the same disc.

Take it easy, but take it,
dudley

dudley, i hope you won't feel offended if I step in too. i am on a
contact high so let me lightly say :
- yeah, i would go for le singing and le playing, le picking and le
grinning. Sounds like a mighty worthy celebration to me and by Jove
the Old, ain't this time for all pending celebrations to rise, float
before spilling over zestily in the great ocean?

Time to celebrate! What sayest thee my old rmd buddy ?

I listened to that (Bob's not yours) last MLK day and really wish I could
discern the lyrics. I wonder if you'd mind sharing?

Alternate lyrics
From the Martin Luther King Jr. Tribute, Washington, DC January 20,
1986

They say every man needs protection
They say that every man must fall
I swear I see my own reflection
Somewhere so high above this wall

I see my light come shinin'
I don't need no doctor or no priest
Any day now
I shall be released

It don't take much to be a criminal
One wrong move and they'll turn you into one
At first decay is just subliminal
To protect yourself and your forever on the run

I see my light come shinin'
I don't need no doctor or no priest
Any day now
I shall be released

He will find you where your stayin'
Even in the arms of somebody elses wife
Your laughin' now, you should be prayin'
To be in the midnight hour of your life

I see my light come shinin'
I don't need no doctor or no priest
Any day now
I shall be released

Hmmm. Watching this vid as I have, I can't help notice how much his
facial appearance has changed. Did he have a face lift? It would
appear so. It's THAT drastic.

I might not have noticed, but since you pointed it out, he does look
remarkably young here. What was he 45 or something and that before
botox and when 40 wasn't the new 30 ?

I saw a recent interview with Cher on ABC News. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C61nORMvObA
She looks about the same - um, maybe a little bit like someone
overinflated her with a bicycle pump, but her nature seems to belie
her fake apperance. Dolly Parton is another one. She's always
laughing, sayin, "Oh, I'm so fake," and then she acts so unpretentious
and writes all of those great home-truth songs. As far as celebrities
go, they're naturals even if they don't 'go natural' like Helen Mirren
or Julie Christie. For some reason, there seems to be more of a stigma
or something when men get plastic surgery, like they aren't supposed
to be guilty of vanity, like being rich and powerful should be enough
to do the trick. I heard once that Al Pacino's agent pressured him to
get work done because he was looking a little too jowly and it was
affecting his career. Micheal Douglas , career, hot wife... If you've
got the money and you can look 10, 15 years younger, and you don't
come out looking like a transvestite, an over-inflated blow-up doll,
MJ, or a Hollywood Komodo dragon lady, why not ? - The lives of the
rich and famous ...

Oh yeah, about the Dylan clip, maybe the video image was altered,
lol.

You wanna know something weird?

It's like, I get worried that Bob Dylan is too sexy for me.

I mean, sometimes I think of him on stage, and of course he had tons
and tons of make-up on, but I think all these pictures, with ageing
skin, jowls, etc...it's all fake. Even the pictures in biograph, of
his wives and kids, it's all fake. Sometimes I think they are the
sexiest best looking people on the face of the earth (not that they
aren't beautiful the way they are in the pictures) but what I mean is,
that this is these are their values, that you have to be totally
physically perfect to fit into their world.

So when I hear about Bob Dylan getting a face lift and all that, I
just worry, that it's all about looks for him, that he is totally
"perfect" and sexy, and mean, and hard, and cold, and vain, and I'm a
total fucking loser.

And you wanna know something totally honestly? (Maybe this makes
sense, because I'm not perfect, but) I like him better looking aged
and natural. I think it's beautiful. (I'm not saying I'm beautiful at
my current weight or anything). But I really really think he's getting
so beautiful as he gets older, at least, in the pictures which may be
totally fake.

I really hope he doesn't go for those face lifts and all that.

I relish in the idea of being with an older man, not that that
matters, none of this matters, I know he's never going to call, I
don't care, I think I am going to go smoke. (I am eagerly awaiting my
lung cancer so I can die. There is nothing on TV, except Life Is
Beautiful, and it was making me sick, seeing the piles of clothes, and
just anything reminding me of the ovens etc...and now there is nothing
else on but this movie The Devil's Arithmetic and it's like, I just
can't get away from the Holocaust, and I am totally miserable.)

I'm confused about the point. They're all older than '84, and the one
from '98 shows him still in recovery from the histoplasmosis, which is
why he's looking rather like a vampire. None of them could be used to
prove that he'd had plastic surgery around 1984. They do pretty much
prove that a) he didn't have a face lift after '84 or b) he should sue
the doctor who gave him one after '84.

Oops, sorry, all the '84's should be '86.

I'd just been looking at videos from '84 to see if there was much of a
difference and came to the conclusion that he was just wearing well
applied make up.

Dear Bob (Mr. Dylan),

If you get a face lift, or do anything to make yourself look any
younger (botox etc..), it may not kill you, but I most certainly will.

I wasn't trying to document evidence of a face lift - no mind-boggling
details, just having a little good clean fun looking through pictures
and got boggled up with the links. Sorry.

It's just that I don't see any evidence of him having one.

Rachel likes his old man face, anyway.

We forgave the Germans and then we were friends

The question is, can everybody forgive me, for being who I am?

I hope so.

Will Bob Dylan ever call me?

I think not.

***

What's the worst thing I have ever done or said?

I know.

(the n word)

I said it really softly, and without malice. I was seriously afraid of
it coming out of my mouth.

And now I am suffering for it.

P.S. I went to see the Color Purple with my Aunt. (with slight bother,
but basically, my brain was quiet) YES, I LEFT THE HOUSE! I thought it
was going to be a play. It was a musical. I'm not a big fan of
musicals. But I had a great seat, and received lots of eye contact,
and waves and smiles, part of the performance, it just happened to be
to me, and looks from the actors, so I couldn't stop grinning.) The
African dancers were the best. And I always get teary-eyed watching
the movie, when Cici is reunited with her children, and this was no
different. But other times I was thinking, oh G-d, this is so stupid,
but it didn't extend to the persons of the actors and actresses. I was
thinking, omg, you guys are so much better than this. (I don't really
like shows where people burst into song.)

When I had this hallucination of him once, with little dots ALL OVER
HIS FACE (acne scars or something) I was paralyzed with his beauty. He
took my breath away (the time he appeared in my bedroom, I told you
about it, I thought it was the last time, before RMD, and then he
disappeared forever, like abandoned love, but it's sort of like the
picture on Live 64, but even more drastic, and he was skinny, and
yellow, and trembling, and he was so nervous about me seeing him, but
like I said, he took my breath away.)

Anyway, the point is, I pictured him in bed with me, where I was
hanging out, on legal speed, and I just couldn't stop kissing him over
and over and over and over, and I said to him that the more dots, the
better, because I am going to kiss every single one!!!!!! :) :) :)
(and I did)

Nobody likes you, Mr. Dylan, but me.

I'M THE ONLY ONE.

You seriously make me cream and pulsate (ok, when I am on speed)

Everybody else just likes you because you are "Bob Dylan."

And they are after your money!

And I know you believe me, because you know how ugly you are.

I told G-d to make it this way, so I could have you all for myself.

And you agreed!

No worries, like I said, it confused me because you were posting below
the comment about him having a face lift.

Every once in a while someone comes up with this idea in RMD and for
the life of me, I can't see it. He'd practically have to be going
into the clinic saying "make it look like I've been run over by a
truck".

Just in case someone new is reading this, the story of my saying that
is in the archives, but I just want to say, I said it to this asshole
police officer, after he walked away from my car, and I was going to
say, "asshole!" but then I realized, "hey, he's black" and I had never
said it before, it was the worst thing I have ever done, and I said it
slowly and quietly, I literally felt the word hanging around my head
in mid air, I looked over at my brother, like a dog who knows he's
done something bad and looks guilty, and he was staring straight ahead
like a cold stone, he wouldn't even look at me (like I wanted him to
assuage me of my guilt, but there was no way on earth he would, and no
one would, and after I met Bob Dylan, I started hearing the n word in
my head, sometimes. It's pretty much gone away, it comes back
sometimes, and it's the most awful thing in the whole world, and there
is nothing I can do about it. It's just every now and then, and I am
the most guilty person on the face of the earth.)

Just to report, five stars are appearing and then disappearing from
here. (The don't you dare change your face post)

I even saw all of them on the board, for the threads, and then later,
they were ALL gone, and then they all came back, so I think this must
be a google thing. Unless whoever is doing it is just sitting at his
computer and has no life, just like me. Hey, wanna get married? Oh
darn, I can't. I am obsessed with Bob Dylan. Sorry, I forgot.

Just so you understand, I said, "G-d, I have no idea how you are going
to do this because Bob Dylan is so ugly, but you have to make me
attracted to him. G-d, we need a miracle here."

And G-d performed a miracle.

I think Bob Dylan is the most beautiful, sexiest, handsome, did I say
beautiful, man alive.

And I am seriously so atttracted to him, I can't stand looking at him
on my computer anymore, because it just drives me insane. Because he
is so beautiful, and I just want him so bad. It hurts.

:(

Bob Dylan is like my filet mignon.

That's all he is to me.

You know what I have been doing a little the other day?

I was thinking about his balls, and pretended to kiss them while I was
lying on the bed.

They were so yummy, I thought to myself, oh come on, why does it have
to be Bob Dylan? And I thought, come on, they are just a pair of
balls. If you want 'em so bad, come on, who cares about Bob Dylan.

And I tried to picture it, but the more I thought about it (I think I
may have just pretended that they were just a pair of balls, lol)
anyway, but the more a picture came with the balls, the more they
actually belonged to another person, the more I realized, I am totally
screwed, I will never get to kiss a pair of balls as long as I live.

Maybe when I get to Heaven, Jesus will let me play with his balls.

Oh forget it. That's stupid. What's bothering me right now is that Bob
Dylan is never going to call me.

What should I do?

I can't do anything else.

I don't want a life without Bob Dylan.

Hey, look at the time.

Almost...

Gettin there...

What else can I say?...

Bob Dylan hates me, I know it.

He doesn't read this for legal reasons.

He ruined my fucking life.

I love him.

I'm screwed.

You are totally embarrassed by me, and you know it.

You are ashamed to be associated with people because you think you are
so great. (oops, maybe I'm talking about myself.? I don't know. Maybe.
But that's only true because I am fat. When I am thin, I can be with
anybody.)

I am never going to be thin again, because I want to die as soon as
possible, because I am miserable without Bob Dylan.

I hate being obsessed with him.

And there is nothing on TV.

600 channels, and there is nothing on.

I think I am going to finally have to join Netflix. (The person who
was here suggested it to me.)
