In 1980 I sent away for an LP from a Christian singer named Keith Green. He
died in a plane accident very soon after. I never opened the LP and it is even
in the original cardboard cover from his "Last Day Ministries." I bought it not
only because he was a pretty good Christian writer, but Dylan played harmonica
on the album. The Title is "So You Wanna Go Back To Egypt..." Not sure how
many songs he played on, becauyse i never opened it, but on the back of the
album it says "HARMONICA: Bob Dylan" and in the "Special Thanks To..." section,
one of his thanks was "BOB DYLAN: For surrendering to Jesus and allowing me to
share in that joy."

I was just curious to know if this album is worth anything to anyone. or would
anyone be interested in a trade..

Let me know..

Thanks. Peter

The tempest may howl and the loud thunder roar
And gathering storms may arise,

Peter -

The song "So You Wanna Go Back to Egypt" is quite a good one. Features some
of Keith Green's classic humorous touch.

connection, please contact me at wp...@utk.edu

I still have this album myself! I would say to you - Take it out of the cover and listen to it! If you really aren't interested, I would be happy to trade you something. I have tons (literally) of obscure CD's....Thanks, Laura

A little harmonica lick around 1:38 and a somewhat longer harmonic break @ 2:50

Interesting coincidence, I found a copy of "No Compromise" the life story of Keith Green, written by his widow Melody Green with David Hazard, at a local book store "Free Bin" last night.

No Index, so I'll have to go through it "manually" for Dylan references.

Oh, okay:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keith_Green#Recording

"In 1979, after negotiating a release from his contract with Sparrow, Green initiated a new policy of refusing to charge money for concerts or albums. Keith and Melody mortgaged their home to privately finance Green's next album, So You Wanna Go Back to Egypt. The album, which featured a guest appearance by Bob Dylan, was offered through mail-order and at concerts for a price determined by the purchaser. By May 1982, Green had shipped out more than 200,000 units of his album – 61,000 for free..."

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/So_You_Wanna_Go_Back_to_Egypt

"Bob Dylan who was a close friend of Green's - contributing his harmonica to the track "Pledge My Head to Heaven"."
