Steven Tyler made the comment that he hopes this kid writes his own
music, because he could be the new Boss. He reminds me of a young,
focused, self-contained Dylan.

I'm shocked Phillip Phillips made it to the AI final 2 -- he is not a
mass media, mainstream musician... but once he starts singing,
something happens. Next week is the finale. If he is the winner,
then there is hope for the future of rock and roll.

I actually sat through two entire videos: the first one, and a link to
Hard to Handle.

Not bad. Can he write new songs, though? (like you say. :) )
