Someone sent me this snippet from out of the L.A. Herald...

"Speaking of Cher, her name turns up on a list of performers
tentatively scheduled to appear on a TV special that will orginiate
from the Soviet Union and be broadcast live back to the states. The
special, essentially a concert from Moscow, target date for the event
is next April. Besides Cher others penciled in thus far include Bob
Dylan, THE GRATEFULL DEAD, Rod Stewart, Don Johnson, Def Leppard, and
the Australian group Midnight Oil. Everything is unconfirmed at this
stag. There is no concert until the network television deal is
negotiated. Its premature to talk about it at this point."

I've heard rumors that the network is ABC.
