Yeah, the autoharpist at center looks a lot like Farina. The blurry
wisp is prob. Mimi--looks like it might be mislabeled. But maybe
McClure played autoharp too at one time.

The caption is most likely by Keenan, the photographer, and no doubt he
knows who he photographed.

McClure was given the autoharp in 1965... by Bob Dylan! Same time he gave
Ginsberg the tape recorder.

there's another Keenan photograph of McClure - with this caption :

MICHAEL McCLURE WITH AUTOHARP
San Francisco 1965
I photographed McClure for his poster to announce a reading he was giving.
Wes Wilson did the graphics for the poster. The classic photograph turned
out so well that McClure did not want to use it. It took a week to convince
him to go with it. Bob Dylan gave him the autoharp.

Exactly. Not only that in that photo is a poster of Bob Dylan from either
the Blonde or Blonde session or the sessions for the cover of the single of
"I Want You." Well those photos didn't appear till June at the earliest on
not on posters to much later than that. Richard Farina was killed the last
day of April.

Is the same photo where all three are identified as Hell's Angel Freewheelin
Frank, Michael McClure and George Montana.

That looks like Trotsky next to Marx. Just thought I'd mention it.
