Neat list. I don't remember most of these from Theme Time (all of which, I think, I listened to). Thanks for calling out Willie Mabon's Seventh Son. I grew up on the (great) Mose Allison version, and never knew the song's origin's. Mose recorded in in '58, Mabon in '55. Then there's Willie Dixon's version from "I Am the Blues." And who knows, since Mabon's is Chess, maybe Willie's on bass.

Darn I wish Bob would do more Theme Time Radios; those were so good.

some of the best reflections of Bob are on those TTRH shows. I enjoyed each one. I remember suffering though the 'talking songs'...lol...and the jazz and the country and the.......just to hear bob read poetry or give out the 'list'. He does a great spring cleaning one. I know it was suppose to be about the music, but i found it to be the sweetest look into the mind of Bob. what i learned most was that Bob's and my music taste don't always agree...lol...:-).

It's my fault. I was getting bogged down by Bob's radio shows so I
posted, in rmd, that Bob should probably stop. He stopped right after.

Seeing as Bob stole the concepts for his radio shows from my own concept
compilations, I figure he takes my advice pretty seriously.

But like you, I'm now ready for more radio shows.
