I believe the good Dr.D has said that "It's a Gas" was published
as an insert in the magazine, thus it'll probably be pretty hard to
find, unless through magazine collectors, and I have no idea what
edition.

Alfred E. Neuman's "It's a Gas" was re-issued on the Born Bad vol.4
compilation from 1989. this should be very much easier to find than the
original flexi.
BTW: another MAD lp ("musically MAD") is part of my novelty sale on my
home page; see url below...

Well, now what about the Eva Tone Soundsheet issued in 1980, Mad Disco?
Is "It's a Gas" a reissue of the Bigtop track? Or is it remade from
scratch?
Remake. It's possible some of the burps are the same, but the music is
completely new (disco style).

I haven't heard that one since I was 11 or 12; thanks for the
memories! It wasn't specifically mentioned in "The Completely MAD"
history of Mad Magazine published several years ago. Argh!!
