To all who dwell in the land of Dementia,

Can anyone out there tell me who was it that recorded 'Blue
Christmas' singing it like Porky Pig while some poor studio engineer
[?] was hopeless with laughter in the background?

Is it at all possible to get a recording of this either from MP3
format or another -legal- source? This is one of my all time favorites
and I'd love to have a copy for myself and my husband.

Thanks so much in advance,

Jeannine McArthur

The best one was done by the original 'Man of a thousand voices' himself -
Mel Blanc (As Porky Pig). I've heard a couple of remakes including the poor
one (shame) the Doctor played 2 weeks ago.

Where, exactly, does this appear?

The only ones I'm aware of were the two versions by John Boy and Billy.

"Blue Christmas" by Seymore Swine was produced by John-Boy and Billy
of WRFX in Charlotte, NC (home station of the John-Boy and Billy Big
Show network).

I don't know who was singing like Porky Pig, but it's John-Boy
laughing in the background.
