Welcome to D.T.'s Demented Datebook WE 6/18/95.

This one is rather long (20K bytes), so I'll skip the intro until next
week.



I WAS ON TV!!!
Yup, if you were in San Diego, I was on channel 8 from 11:30am-NOON on
the phone banks (I was hamming it up) and raised about $1000! WOW! You
also may have gotten a hit on where I work. We raised $3,084,533, a record
for our city! I gave some of mine to Children's Hospital too.

of Swat suffered from throat cancer and died on August 16 of this year.
In 1951, The first closed-circuit transmission of a boxing match was
between Joe Louis and Lee Savold on this date; Louis knocked out Savold in
the 6th round, but his comeback bid for the title was stopped later in the
year by Rocky Marciano.
