I've got both the LP and the CD but as I recall there wasn't a lot of
credit-type text on the cover of either....r

All I can recall is that, after it became a hit here ('79), the girl went
public to claim that she had received very little money for it...

(or was that "Clouds Across The Moon" by The RAH Band? Have to check....)

Following up to self...

Apparently she was called Rachel Fury, and was called in because the
original backing vocals had been lost in a screw-up with the tapes.

Debi Doss and Linda Jardim (RIP) sang backup vocals on this song. But I think its incorrect because in one video I saw the backup singers looked like the Robert Palmer girls. Anyone who knows who they are? Here's the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X19iZ4CyJf0
