"Ten lyrical, spherical, diabolical denizens of the deep who all"...
WHAT??

This has been driving me nuts for ages- I can't make out what they said
on the record.

Ten ...... Denizens of the Deep, who haul quay around the quoh in a quivvey
in the quarry, all at the same time.

...At least I _think_ that's what it says. Quay is something like straw,
maybe. A quivvey (sp?) holds your arrows. We all know what a quarry is.
Quoh (sp?) I was told, once, is a corner.

Ladies and Gentlemen! The Tibetian Memory Trick!

One hen
One hen, two ducks
One hen, two ducks, three squawking geese
(etc.) four Limerick oysters
(etc,) five corpulant porposes
(etc.) six pairs of Don Alverso's tweezers
(etc.) seven thousand Macidonians in full battle array
(etc.) eight brass monkeys from the ancient sacred crypts of Egypt
(etc.) nine apathetic, sympathetic, diabetic old men on roller skates
with a marked propensity towards procrastination and sloth.
(etc.) ten lyrical, spherical, diabolical denizens of the deep, who
all quiver at their quarry in a query at the quay...ALL AT
THE SAME TIME!

(note: I'm not absolutely sure about the last part of the last line,
especially as it was only spoken once. My memory was from Flo and
Eddie's (aka the Turtles) album. Lord, I haven't heard that in ten
years.)

(ps. Note to all those people I have met whose name I can never
remember...*this* is why I couldn't remember! The "Tibetian Memory
Trick" was occupying that part! At *last*! I am able to discharge
this! Maybe I can have this portion of my mind back....)

Anyone have the complete words for this? Please email too since I'm posting
from a guest account.

Thanks!

Macedonian Warriors in full battle array

Sounds right otherwise. Note that "quay" is pronounced "key".

A "Quiver" is for holding arrows, not "Quivvey." Still can't find a definition for Quivvey.

Quivvy (sp) has to with a dock or pier. Not being particularly nautical myself, I am unable to specify authoritatively as to what that might be. Also #6 is my phonetic spelling. I saw Jerry say it on Carson's show, and memorized it then, phonetically.

Six is "Don Alverzo's" tweezers...Don Alverzo appears to be a pseudonym
of a shady lawyer somehow involved in the Sc**nt*l*gy movement....

In number nine, the marked propensity is to both "procrastination and
sloth"....r
