Hi Keith,
Off the top of my head, I recalled an album ca 1972, which I thought was
called "Starlight on the Rails" and probably was on the Philo label.
Since Philo was bought by Rounder about 15 years ago, I looked on
www.rounder.com and searched by artist. I found the old Philo recording,
possibly retitled "Good Though" and the story (not song) "Moose Turd Pie"
is on it. (see below)
If you can't find the Rounder album, ask one of my kids, since they
memorized it and told it with great glee when they were 7 and 8 years
old. It's been 25 years, though, so maybe their memory has dimmed...
