1. "Please, Vanna, Pick Me A Letter" - parody of 1967 Box Tops hit, "The
Letter." Kind of sounds like Cheech and/or Chong. Lyrics go..
"I don't care how much money I have to spend,
Can't stand to look at Pat Sajak again.
Won't throw in the towel, til I buy a vowel,
Please, Vanna, pick me a letter.
(Lose a turn? Hey, Pat, lose THIS!)"
2. "California Kid" - some sort of country western parody. Lyrics go..
"About that time, the front door was kicked in,
And in walked some scumball all covered in sin.
He said, 'That's my woman,' I said, 'That's no lie,'
I blew a hole in him just as big as the sky.
I've got my Colt .45 right by my side,
Oh, I'm the California Kid, I hope you're quite prepared to die."
3. "Seymour" - another country western parody of sorts. This is supposed
to be the tale of Seymour, the son of the 142nd fastest gun in the west.
"[Seymour's mother] had one dream, and he never mocked her,
She dreamed he'd marry a lady doctor.
Seymour. Mama's boy Seymour. Tall, big baby Seymour.
Son of the 142nd fastest gun in the west."
4. "The 12 Daze of Christmas" - as sung by that drunk lady, whose name
I've never found out. I don't think this is from Dr. Demento's show,
but it's pretty demented, as well.
These are all the demented songs I can think of that I have no other
information on. If you can help, please do. Thanks again.

Not Chech and Chong, I think that it was Dr. Dave. I do know that he is a
radio jock somewhere.

That is sung by Country Dick Montana. I think that it is a Beetfarmers tune,
but it could be from one of his solo works.

Frank Gallup, a follow up to "The Ballad of Irving". The original was on an
album called "When You Are in Love, The Whole World is Jewish".
