Yep. It was officially released 40 years ago today!

Some of the people who bought the first pressing have grandkids by
now. Yipes!

Only thing more scary is that pot is still illegal. Come ON already!

Congrats, dude! I remember hearing it about 36 years ago when Dr. D
was on KMET (and I was 8 years old)... very catchy, very funny song!
It's been echoing around in my head ever since!

I think that on the mathematical side, though, it's possible that some
who bought your original pressing might very well have great-
grandchildren (I'm only saying that because a gal I went to school
with is a grandma herself and has been for a few years...). That's not
as sobering as how many generations of hamsters have been born since
then, though (and I'm not doing that math).

Great song!
