The song/skit went something like "Idi, Idi, Idi Amin - the most amazing
man, you ever seen. He's the General, the President, the King of the Sea,
Idi, Idi, Idi Amin" with singers being picked off one by one for foulups or
political reasons.
Can anyone point me to info on the bit, including act, lyrics, and where I
can get a copy of it (an MP3, or a show archived somewhere I can extract it
from)

"Three singers more than enough for a quartet."
Ida Amin Dada was deposed about 25 years ago. I can't imagine that song
getting much play in the late 1980s. Maybe he did a bunch of songs about
dictators (with songs like "Der Fuehrer's Face" and "Ayatollah", probably
tossing in "Stalin Wasn't Stalin'"). Most likely it came from the disk
you found at the radio station.

Thank you. I had no idea that was the name, so I wouldn't have spotted
it. Now that I know I looked it up at http://php.indiana.edu/~jbmorris/.
It was on about once a year into the 1990s, with some play up until 1999.
It leads Der Fuehrer's face a couple times, and show up next to Saddam
Hussein too, so that must be the right song.
